Technology today affects the lives of people in all economic conditions, in all corners of the globe and technology is conceived, developed, and produced in locations all over the world. The global spread of technology will bring hope and prosperity, but also complexity and risk. The 21st century global challenges of water, food, health, energy, climate, and security cannot be met by technology alone, but neither can they be met without science and engineering.
In this Forum, our distinguished expert panel will explore many facets of global technology and offer guidance on the opportunities and responsibilities of engineering leaders.
