Challenges in Engineering Education:
- There is a need to advance lean thinking through education and to advocate enterprise level lean practices.
- There is a need for a forum through which LAI member institutions and other institutions can communicate about lean practices as well as communicate with LAI stakeholders.
- There is a need to pilot programmatic activities to advance lean knowlege and practices in undergraduate and graduate education.
