Working with the Media  (Print This)

Media Relations at the NAE works to improve news coverage of engineering and encourage reporters to include the engineering angles in stories about news of the day. Our goal is to enhance the American public's awareness and understanding of engineering.

To fulfill this mission, the NAE looks to its members and other engineers to provide their expertise on topics in the news. For more on why it's critical for engineers to work with the media, see A Call to Action.

The following guidelines are suggested to help engineers prepare for and give an effective interview.
