2005 Engineering Education Leadership Institute

The Engineering Education Leadership Institute (EELI) curriculum focused on developing leadership skills in the areas of change management, creativity, and diversity with explicit attention to the application of these skills to the leadership and development of faculty, administrative staff, and students. Our goal was to assist engineering education leaders in enhancing their knowledge and skills in areas required for achieving the visions of the NAE report, The Engineer of 2020. Among other items, the application requested identification of three challenges facing participating engineering colleges/schools. And, among the workshop deliverables was that campus teams make available a copy of the team plan that developed during EELI. This portfolio summarizes the indications of challenges and the team plans developed to meet those challenges.
