American Indian Science & Engineering Society
AISES is a national, nonprofit organization which nurtures building of community by bridging science and technology with traditional Native values. Through its educational programs, AISES provides opportunities for American Indians and Native Alaskans to pursue studies in science, engineering, and technology arenas. The trained professionals then become technologically informed leaders within the Indian community. AISES' ultimate goal is to be a catalyst for the advancement of American Indians and Native Alaskans as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined members of society.

Society of Mexican American Engineers and Scientists
Founded in 1974 for the purpose of increasing the number of Mexican Americans and other Hispanics in the technical and scientific fields, the Society now represents the Mexican American community in the all-important technological arena on issues related to education, economics, environment and research.

National Society of Black Engineers
NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
SHPE was founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1974 by a group of engineers employed by the city of Los Angeles. Their objective was to form a national organization of professional engineers to serve as role models in the Hispanic community. The concept of Networking was the key basis for the organization. SHPE quickly established two student chapters to begin the network that would grow to encompass the nation as well as reach countries outside the United States. Today, SHPE enjoys a strong but independent network of professional and student chapters throughout the nation.

Society of Women Engineers
SWE is a non-profit educational service organization dedicated to making known the need for women engineers and encouraging young women to consider an engineering education.
