CASEE Research Affiliate: MIT Teaching and Learning Laboratory
Research Foci:
For the past several years the Teaching and Learning Laboratory has been involved in assessing both new initiatives in science and engineering education at MIT, as well as on-going education efforts. That work has been guided by a research agenda comprised of three broad questions:
- What is the impact of particular pedagogical methods and/or educational technologies on conceptual learning?
- What is the impact of particular pedagogical methods and/or educational technologies on student engagement and peer interaction?
- What is the impact of particular pedagogical methods and/or educational technologies on the allocation of instructional resources?
