The National Academy of Engineering commissioned market research intended to identify messages for communicating more effectively about engineering to the public. The research is one component of an NAE project  funded by the National Science Foundation. The committee overseeing the project will release a final report later this year.

Note: The report includes as an appendix a 10-page topline summary of key data from an online survey on engineering messaging.
