Bernie Zubrowski - During my time at the Boston Children's Museum I authored 12 children science books which received special recognition by AAAS. In addition I was the principle investigator for a middle school physical science curriculum: Models in Technology and Science. I also was involved with the design and development of 8 exhibits which was traveled by the Association of Science and Technology centers to other science centers in the US. During my time at the Educational Development Centers I was involved with several teacher education projects and curriculum development projects. These were World in Motion in collaboration with the Society of Automotive Engineers. Design-it, Explore-it, Ponds and Trees, funded by the National Science Foundation, was developed for after school programs. I authored the book: Explanation and Meaning Making in the Learning of Science which develops in-depth, a pedagogical model for inquiry based on aesthetics, play and metaphor.
