Dr. SHI Lei is an associate professor of the School of Environment of Tsinghua University, the deputy director of the State Environmental Protection Key Laboratory of Eco-industry. His research interests include industrial ecosystem complexity, industrial metabolism and eco- innovation. Dr. Shi has lead more than 20 projects, including evolution of industrial ecosystems based on complex network analysis, development of industrial ecology interdisciplinary study platform, aluminium Stocks and Flows in Mainland China, eco-industrial park planning for Quzhou, Fuzhou, Anyang, Yixing and Xi'an. He is also the expert of formulating China Circular Economy Promotion Law, member of committee of Chinese Society of Industrial Ecology and Technology, and member of committee of Social-Economic Metabolism Section of ISIE.
