Randy Atkins:  Medicines might one day be made from natural chemicals within your body by tiny factories taken in a pill.  Bill Bentley, a University of Maryland engineer, says magnetic bandages on your skin could steer them to problem sites.  

William Bentley:  If you can deliver the drug exactly where it needs to be at the dose and time that’s required then…

Randy Atkins:  …side effects could be drastically reduced.  In the lab, Bentley's already used the technique to thwart bacterial growth.

William Bentley:  And then you'd tailor this kind of technology for different purposes, different bacteria, different infections.
