The walls of the future may be made from the same material as plastic soda bottles and might automatically adjust room temperature or open and close windows.  Chris Macneal, of Philadelphia's Kieran-Timberlake architectural firm, says they're looking at built-in chemicals that absorb or release heat in response to electric current.  He says the walls could also double as light displays.  Solar cells within would collect and store energy transmitted through hair-thin wires to molecules in the walls that emit light, form words, or even change colors.  With the National Academy of Engineering, Randy Atkins, WTOP Radio.
