So engineers are creating the first 3-D computer model of the brain, hoping to reveal how it functions and malfunctions.  Researchers at the Brain Mind Institute in Switzerland are imputing years of brain cell data into a powerful IBM supercomputer.  Charles Peck, of IBM, says the first step is to digitally create each of ten-thousand cells packed into part of the neocortex.  That's the multi-folded "grey matter" where learning, language, and consciousness happen.  So will the artificial brain actually be able to think?  Peck says we'll have to wait and see.  With the National Academy of Engineering, Randy Atkins, WTOP Radio.
