What does a room full of fashion designers, military brass, and engineers have in common?  They're all talking about "wearable computers."  Soon you might consider today's wearable devices—like wrist watches, cell phones, and portable music players—just too bulky.  Tom Martin, a Virginia Tech engineer, says his lab is already weaving washable wires alongside thread in shirts that can monitor your vital signs.  He says future possibilities include everything from glasses that translate sign language to shoes that pick up floor plan information to help you navigate a mall.  With the National Academy of Engineering, Randy Atkins, WTOP Radio.
