Guests will board a motor coach at the 21st Street entrance of the NAS building. Upon arrival, guests will experience a docent-led tour of the Hirshhorn Hits.

Originally established by Congress to showcase the art and artists of our time, the Hirshhorn Museum has, since its opening, sought to uphold this mission by sharing the transformative power of modern and contemporary art with the widest possible audiences. Today, the Hirshhorn acts as a leading voice for groundbreaking artists whose works challenge not only the political and cultural landscape but also the very practice of artmaking itself. Now in its fifth decade, the Hirshhorn is a leading voice for contemporary art and culture and provides a national platform for the art and artists of our time. The Hirshhorn’s holdings encompass one of the most important collections of postwar art in the world. It is committed to providing the artists of today a global platform to explore new ways to create, with performance, digital media, video, and technology.

The Hirshhorn Museum tour is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and includes moderate walking. Comfortable walking shoes and clothing are suggested.

Guest tours will conclude with lunch for both tour groups at The Capital Grille Restaurant, Washington, DC.
