Guests will board a motor coach at the 21st Street entrance of the NAS building.
Upon arrival at the Kennedy Center, guests will experience a docent-led tour led by Friends of the Kennedy Center tour guides, who will take you on a journey through the lovely halls and theaters. You will learn the history of the building, see stunning artworks and gifts from many countries, and get a look at the theaters where the arts come alive. The Kennedy Center presents classical and contemporary music, opera, drama, dance, and other performing arts from the United States and other countries. It strives to ensure that the education and outreach programs meet the highest level of excellence and reflect the cultural diversity of the United States.
This tour is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and involves moderate walking, so comfortable shoes and clothing are highly recommended. All tours are wheelchair accessible. Assistive Listening devices are also available.
Guest tours will conclude with lunch for both tour groups at The Capital Grille Restaurant, Washington, DC.
