Ronda Jameson is the Director of STEM Education for Texarkana Independent School District in Texarkana, Texas. She has served in public and private education for 19 years. She co-wrote the curriculum framework for the Martha and Josh Morriss Math & Engineering Elementary School and initiated a STEM teacher training model, the Texarkana Model for STEM Professional Development, which has been designated as an exemplar by the Texas High School Project. As an adjunct instructor for Texas A & M University – Texarkana, Ms. Jameson teaches courses on STEM Curriculum Design and STEM Curriculum Delivery, focusing on a rigorous, interdisciplinary, math/science/engineering/technology curriculum. Ms. Jameson received her B.S. in secondary education from Oklahoma State University and her M.Ed. in education administration from Texas A & M University - Texarkana. She is a certified curriculum auditor with Curriculum Management Systems, Inc. Ms. Jameson is passionate about helping students of poverty achieve their highest potential and has conducted workshops and seminars on student achievement, STEM professional development, and 21st century learning skills.
