Dr. Weible studies policy change, learning, political behavior, coalitions and networks, institutions and collective action, collaborative governance, and the role of scientific and technical information in the policy process. Current research projects include the study of coalition politics in shale gas development, government and non-government capacity to generate and utilize information in climate and energy issues, and regulatory compliance in organic farming. He currently serves as the editor of the Policy Studies Journal.
