Philanthropic Societies

We appreciate the significant financial contributions our donors make in support of the NAE and its initiatives. Their contributions enhance the impact of the NAE's work and support its vital role as advisor to the nation. To show our gratitude, donors are recognized through the NAE’s Philanthropic Societies.

PLANNED GIVING
Heritage Medal The Heritage Society celebrates members and friends who have planned a gift today that provides for the future. We gratefully recognize individuals who make a bequest, beneficiary designation or another type of planned gift to the NAE.

Members of the Heritage Society have provided a legacy gift that upholds the mission of the NAE. We honor these individuals by:

  • Listing their names on the donor recognition plaques at the historic NAS Building and Keck Center in Washington, D.C., and the Beckman Center in Irvine, CA;
  • Presenting them with a cast Heritage Society medal as a memento of our gratitude;
  • Including them in the honor roll of donors in the NAE Annual Report and The Bridge; and
  • Celebrating the power of philanthropy with them at the annual dinner of the Golden Bridge Society.
