The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) will convene a day-long forum to foster constructive dialogue of the ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission’s (EAC) proposed revisions to the General Criteria on student outcomes and curriculum (Criteria 3 and 5). 

The forum seeks convene representatives from diverse stakeholder communities involved in engineering education and invested in the engineering workforce for a structured discussion of the proposed changes and the processes used to develop and solicit community feedback on them. Speakers and other participants will include both advocates for and critics of the proposed criteria changes, and will represent ABET, engineering societies, employers, industry, engineering schools (faculty and administration), engineering education research, and policy.
