2016 NAE National Meeting

NAE National Meeting in Honor of NAE Home Secretary Thomas F. Budinger

The NAE 2016 National Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 11, at the Beckman Center in Irvine, California. The members meeting will start at 11:00 AM PST in the Beckman Center Auditorium, followed by lunch at noon in the Center’s refectory. The symposium will begin at 1:00 PM in the Beckman Center Auditorium. Registration is required.

This year’s National Meeting will honor NAE Home Secretary Thomas F. Budinger as he approaches the end of his term on June 30. The focus of the meeting will be our energy future, and the featured speakers will be C. D. Mote, Jr., Thomas F. Budinger, Richard A. Meserve, Joseph V. Minervini, and four presenters from the NAE Frontiers of Engineering Symposia who are recipients of the Gilbreth Lectureships. The Gilbreth Lectures were established in 2001 by the Council of the NAE as a means of recognizing outstanding young engineers and are supported by the Armstrong Endowment for Young Engineers.
